When Comic Postcards Are Essentially Appropriate And Funny

Comic postcards are a great way to send a little laugh in someone’s direction. Comics, just like the Sunday Funnies, are everyone’s favorite little slice of life humor all rolled into one to four little panels of pictures and fun.

But some of us see humor where others don’t. Some of us appreciate humor when others might find it a tad bit off color or even downright inappropriate. At other times a little comic humor is the one thing that we need to get us over a hump in our day or the tragedy in our lives.

The more personalized comic postcards can be the more direct their effect will be. When you can either create or find a comic postcard that ties in personal humor with the loved one on the receiving end, the effect is twice as powerful. It is not uncommon for people to search high and low for the exact right comic postcard.

Yet, is it worth even sending a postcard at all anymore. We live in the digital age, and anything that we send just for the sake of sending it we tend to do it through digital transmission. Some of us aren’t even aware that they still make postcards or that they used to only cost 2 cents to buy and send.

Because we live in such a digitally reliant age, the few times that we actually sit down and write out a postcard and stick in the snail mail, we are considered to be heroes of a special nature. Comic postcards especially, give the recipient something tangible, something that smells of your love, and something that will be treasured for a long time to come.

When sending the comic postcard, it’s simply advisable to know your audience and know what will make their day more. Sincerity, especially in a time of crisis, can be very effective. But humor can help ensure that your recipient is understood even during tough times.
